Dr. Nirmal Kaur is a board-certified Gastroenterologist specializing in Inflammatory Bowel Disease at Henry Ford Health in Detroit, Michigan. She previously served as the Director of the Inflammatory Bowel Disease Center from 2010 - 2022, where she grew the program to include 6 practitioners and over 5000 patients.

Dr. Kaur then moved into executive roles at Henry Ford Health, where she led community physician relationships across all tertiary services and expanded care delivery into multiple new markets. She has an extensive background as Principal Investigator in IBD clinical trials involving novel therapeutics in IBD as well as clinical outcomes. Dr. Kaur completed her residency and fellowship training at the University of Michigan in 2010.
