Chief Operating Officer

Kent retired from the United States Navy after serving 23 years in Navy Medicine as a hospital administrator. He would go on to serve as a Chief Executive Officer in both for-profit and not-for-profit hospitals as well as in executive leadership roles, at the corporate level, for HCA, Acadia Healthcare, and Cogent HMG, at that time the largest for-profit management service organization in the United States.

For the last 11 years Kent has served as the Founder/President of Physician Leaders for Today, a company that focuses on developing physicians as leaders and consultants and recently joined Syncoro Health.

Kent did his undergraduate work in Healthcare Services at Southern Illinois University; graduate work in Human Resource Management Development at Chapman University, and post graduate work in Organizational Psychology at Walden University.

Specialty Physician

Dr. Sternberg is a board-certified Urologist and Endourologist, serving as Associate Professor at the University of Massachusetts/Chan Medical School Department of Urology. He was previously at the University of Vermont Medical Center from 2012- 2022. He completed his undergraduate education at Emory University and received his medical degree from the State University of New York (SUNY) at Buffalo. He remained in Buffalo for Urology residency from 2004-2009 and then went on to complete a fellowship in robotics and endourology at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.

Dr. Sternberg focuses clinically on endourology and kidney stone management and prevention. This involves the surgical management of nephrolithiasis (ureteroscopy and percutaneous nephrolithotomy) as well as focused metabolic testing and counselling on kidney stone prevention. He has developed and lead multidisciplinary kidney stone prevention clinics incorporating expert nephrologists and dieticians. His practice also includes the management of a variety of general urologic conditions including Benign prostatic hypertrophy. In addition to clinical practice, Dr. Sternberg is actively involved in clinical research, quality improvement, and residency education. 

Specialty Physician

Dr. Samardeep Gupta is a board-certified rheumatologist with a clinical practice in the Ann Arbor Veterans Affairs Medical Center, an affiliate of the University of Michigan. He also holds the appointment of Associate Professor of Medicine specializing in Rheumatology, with a primary research focus on innovative therapeutics for Psoriasis and Psoriatic Arthritis, and Co-Director of a collaborative Dermatology-Rheumatology clinic, leading a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care. His expertise in Rheumatology spans a wide range, with a specific emphasis on Rheumatic Diseases exhibiting skin manifestations, such as Psoriatic Arthritis and Dermatomyositis. He has participated as a co-investigator in numerous clinical trials and research projects for Psoriatic Arthritis.

Dr. Gupta is a Fellow of the American College of Rheumatology, a valued Member of the Veterans Affairs Rheumatology Consortium, and the Group for Research and Assessment of Psoriasis and Psoriatic Arthritis (GRAPPA), as well as the National Psoriasis Foundation, and the the American College of Rheumatology Musculoskeletal Ultrasound (MSUS) committee. Dr. Gupta also serves as Section Chief for Clinical Services and Medical Education at the Ann Arbor VA Medical Center.

Specialty Physician

Dr. Carlos E. Vigil is a board-certified Hematologist and Oncologist, with a background in clinical trial development in malignancies both in clinical practice and at a large pharmaceutical company. His clinical focus lies in leukemia and stem cell transplant, cancer research at the molecular biology level, and improving patient access to these services.

Academically, Dr. Vigil has served as Assistant Professor at Northwestern University, where he led the creation of a Myelodysplastic Syndrome clinic and became the inpatient clinical lead at Northwestern University. He also served as Assistant Professor in the Division of Hematology/Oncology and Bone Marrow Transplant and Clinical Director in leukemia research at the University of Iowa, where he facilitated the growth of the research portfolio, bringing access to novel therapies in the Midwest. Dr. Vigil also served in leadership roles at the Division of Clinical Oncology for severe neutropenic and stem cell transplant at Instituto Nacional de Enfermedades Neoplasicas, in Lima Peru.

Dr. Vigil completed fellowships in Hematology/Oncology at H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center; Leukemia at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center; and Bone Marrow and Stem Cell at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He has also served as a member of the International Consortium on Acute Leukemia and the Venous Thromboembolism Task Force at Roswell Park Cancer Institute.

Given his vast contribution, Dr. Vigil has been awarded honors from the National Cancer Institute of Peru, the American Society of Hematology, and American Society of Clinical Oncology.

Specialty Physician

Dr. Abhay N. Bilolikar is a board-certified cardiologist with a large clinical practice at William Beaumont Hospital in the metro Detroit area. He has over 15 years of experience as a clinical cardiologist at a large, academic, tertiary care referral center serving a wide catchment area throughout Michigan.  His responsibilities range from caring for the sickest of patients through the cardiac intensive care unit, to  advanced cardiac imaging in CT, MRI, and transesophageal echocardiograms, supporting structural interventions including mitral valves and TAVRs. Dr. Bilolikar currently serves as the Medical Director of Echocardiography where he leads protocol development, oversight of ultrasound quality and personnel, and quality initiatives at a system level. He is Board Certified in echocardiography and Cardiac CT, with research interests in coronary plaque imaging. 

He completed medical school at Wayne State University in Detroit, and his Internal Medicine residency training at the University of Michigan, followed by cardiology fellowship training at William Beaumont Hospital In Royal Oak, Michigan. 

Workforce Solutions

Damian is first generation American, as he grew up in a predominantly Polish neighborhood in Rochester, New York.  He attended SUNY-Potsdam and the University of Georgia and went on to Seton Hall University for his Masters of Healthcare Administration. 

Damian has been in executive healthcare leadership since 2003, holding leadership positions within Maxim Health, HCA and UHS.  He currently is the Founder and CEO of Korzen Health.   Damian currently resides in Atlanta, GA with his family. 

Clinical Trial Nurse

Marissa Eldred is the Nurse Liaison for Syncoro Health specializing in Clinical Research. She graduated from the University of Detroit Mercy with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2016. 

Marissa has focused on research for the past six years and is passionate about advocating for patients and participating in the development of new discoveries in healthcare. . 

Analytics

Dominic has over 15 years of analytics experience in his career thanks to various roles within the healthcare industry. His career has included time spent as an analyst, consultant and in leadership roles. Dominic has experience working with large clinical, operational, and financial data sets and taking those data sets and turning them into meaningful analyses and visualizations..

The focus of Dominic’s career has centered around partnering with healthcare leaders and teams to help better understand their business operations and drive performance improvement.
